Please join us on Sunday, October 4th at 2pm CT / 3pm ET for a Native-led Jingle Dress Dance in the Presque Isle Scenic Area on the east end of Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, right next to the beautiful Presque Isle River and its majestic waterfalls, and of course the incomparable Lake Superior. This ceremony is being held to honor the Land, Water, and Lifeforms, whose wellbeing is intrinsically entangled with our own.

The Dance will be accompanied by speakers and followed by a Potluck Feast, so feel free to bring a dish to share with others (along with your own reusable dishware).
The event is free but a Recreation Pass is required to enter the Park. This is $12 per vehicle for an out-of-state single day pass or $15 for a Michigan vehicle annual pass. All Tribe members will be reimbursed by Protect the Porkies. Shuttling and carpooling is encouraged!
We'd love you to join! Please reach out: ProtectThePorkies@gmail.com
